This proposal aims to formalize and rationalize the new uses of the area. We are very much concerned of the transcendence and landscape iconic role of Rana e Hedhun. Therefore, we are foreseeing an innovative way of dealing with a tourist resort within an original naturalised Mediterranean landscape. It is about improving its connectivity so that it is transformed into a welcoming place for the people of the new tourist resort, the improved village, and the town. It must become a place of leisure for the residents, a sport facility of the area and a well communicated centre, thanks to the new system of roads and parking facilities to rationalize and integrate cars in a natural area without contradicting the nature and landscape quality, but on the contrary, designing solutions that follow the traces of the place, its natural resources, its vegetation, its materials.
Rana e Hedhun seaside resort is a rectangular sector between the transverse parallel limits of the seashore and the above platform measuring 329 meters of width, the vertical exterior limits, of the sum of the different original orthogonal lots, measuring 338 meters of depth, forming nearly a square plan.
It represents an intervention area of approximately 278.218 m2.
The scope of study extends to the enlarged existing Village and the Agricultural Area, the new Pier and the new Aerodrome, in total 130 ha.
