Masterplan Parc de l’Estació del Nord

This masterplan of Parc L´Esactio del Nord focuses on the rectangular sector, located between two islands of L´Eixample, connected to the intersections of Avinguda Meridiana, Carrer dels Almogàvers, Carrer d´Alí Bei and Carrer de Nàpols. The total plan area contains approximately 10 ha. Existing of a leisure and sports area, as well as a dog park and an important transfer area for public transport, the goal of this masterplan is to achieve a welcoming place for people of the neighborhood, district and city. Connectivity takes a big role in this masterplan. Each side of the park is made sure to be connected trough topographical adaptations by landscape contiunity. Green areas are being expanded and new entrances are being astablished to improve visability and accessibility. The promenade along Carrer Almogavers accommodates views of the scupture are the park. Vegetation is being added aligmently to soften the transition and melt the park and the vibrant surrounding area together.
