Since 1994, he has been an Associate Professor of Architectural Design at the School of Architecture of Barcelona.
He is particularly interested in urban questions and the changing conditions of the contemporary European city. Specifically, he has addressed through teaching and practice the complexity of each site that requires the sensitive interpretation of place and space as a critical synthesis of historic layers, existing natural and man-made systems, cultural forces, and the potential for future meaning. The success of the designs resided not only in their ability to address these often conflicting sites and program characteristics but in their creation of a whole larger than the sum of the parts. in this changing context.
She leads the Barcelona office with Andreu Arriola and focuses on design and communication, liaising with clients and the creative direction of the practice. She is closely involved in the development of all projects from inception to completion.
